A HEART-TOUCHING GOODBYE TO SAAWAN KUMAR; EVERYONE’S FAV!!

Veteran filmmaker and songwriter Saawan Kumar Tak passed away at 4 p.m. today due to heart failure. Rakesh Roshan, a veteran actor-producer and close friend of Saawan Kumar, met him this afternoon, just a few hours before the senior filmmaker passed away from his heart and lung conditions.

“I had the chance to meet Saawan Ji today at Kokilaben hospital around 2 pm,” disclosed Rakesh Roshan. Even though he was using a respirator, we shook hands, and at 4.30 I received the tragic news.

 Rakesh Roshan praised Sawan Kumar for the work he did on his movies, saying, “He was a terrific buddy and a highly talented filmmaker and lyricist. He collaborated with me to create Mother 98 and penned the music for Kaho Naa Pyar Hai. May he rest in peace.”

Hrithik Roshan’s debut film Kaho Naa Pyar Hai featured memorable songs like Pyaar Ki Kashti Mein, Janeman Janeman and Chand Sitaare, all of which were written by Saawan Kumar.

Earlier today evening, Salman Khan took to Twitter to remember Saawan Kumar as the superstar shared, “May u rest in peace my dear Sawaan ji. Have always loved n respected u”.
