The producers planned to release the Hindi dub version starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in cinemas. The release date was also announced as January 26, 2022. However, the makers have now canceled the release altogether. Yeah you read that right! And that is to make room for bollywood’s most awaited film Shehzada, staring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon. Shehzada is a Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramulu.

“To media & trade, Manish Shah promoter of Goldmines along with the makers of Shehzada have jointly decided to withdraw the theatrical release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi version,” the producers said in a statement. Coming back to Shehzada, the film is directed by Rohit Dhawan. In addition to Kartik and Kriti, the film is also stars Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedkar.
