Akshay Kumar’s upcoming Ram Setu, has finished shooting the Ooty leg of the film. Also starring Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez the production of the film has been challenging as earlier numerous crew members, even Akshay Kumar, tested positive for COVID-19 during the first leg of production.
The crew of the film is once again facing some difficulties. The makers were Reportedly planning to shoot large segments of the film in Sri Lanka. However, a source from the crew has now informed that because of some permission complications, they have decided to shoot in Daman instead.
The whole team was obviously very thrilled to shoot important scenes in Sri Lanka, like film’s climax. However, the travel became problematic due to the pandemic and quarantine measures.
Akshay will be essaying the role of an archaeologist in Ram Setu. The movie is based on the fabled roots of the underwater bridge that links Sri Lanka and India. Ram Setu will witness Akshay doing a lot of action, along with multiple deep-diving scenes in the water. Tere Bin Laden and Parmanu director Abhishek Sharma has helmed the film.
