Jacqueline Fernandez has been summoned once again in a money laundering case related to conman Sukesh Chandrasekar. The actress has been ordered to appear before ED on September 25. Fernandez was earlier questioned as a witness in a case related to Chandrasekar for 6 hours in New Delhi. Now she has been asked to appear before ED for another round of questioning in the same matter.
Reportedly more actors might be summoned in the case. ED is investigating details to find out if the actress was a beneficiary of the laundered money. The report also claimed that Nora Fatehi may also be called in for questioning in the matter.
Jacqueline’s statement will be reportedly recorded under section 50 of the PMLA. Jacqueline reportedly became a victim of the Sukesh’s racket. Sukesh used to reportedly spoof call Jacqueline Fernandez from Tihar Jail. He used to pretend to be a big personality while spoof calling. The report had a source revealing that when Jacqueline believed the conman, he started sending her expensive flowers and chocolates as gifts.
Talking on the work front Jacqueline has been busy with the promotions of her newly released film Bhoot Police. The film premiered on Disney+Hotstar. It also stars Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Yami Gautam.
