Vijay Devarakonda is currently busy shooting for his upcoming Hindi-Telugu film Liger. Boxing legend Mike Tyson has joined the crew in the US for the shoot. Tyson will be making his South Indian film debut with the project. Reportedly his cameo in the film is important for the story.
Vijay recently shared a picture with Mike Tyson from the film sets. “This man is love. Every moment I am making memories! And this one will forever be special… #Liger Vs The Legend… When I came face to face with Iron @MikeTyson” he captioned his post.
Vijay will be seen essaying the role of a mixed martial arts fighter with a stutter in Liger. The actor reportedly underwent mixed martial arts classes in Thailand in preparation for his character.
“The film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, and will be dubbed into other regional languages as well. Besides Telugu, I am planning to dub my lines in Hindi as well,” Vijay was quoted saying.
Karan Johar will be releasing the film in Hindi. Being directed by Puri Jagannadh, this project will mark Devarakonda’s Bollywood debut. The film also stars Ananya Panday.
