Abhishek Bachchan has once again proved his powerful on-screen presence through his amazing portrayal of Bob Biswas. The makers of Bob Biswas released the film’s trailer which stars Abhishek Bachchan as the lead character Bob Biswas, who is a hitman. The trailer is being highly appreciated by actor’s fans and critiques.
Abhishek’s father superstar Amitabh Bachchan too was impressed after watching the trailer and gave a shout out to the film. Sharing the film’s trailer on his Instagram profile he wrote: “I am proud to say you are my Son ! BYCMJBBN.”
Bob Biswas is a standalone film on the character of Bob Biswas which was first introduced by Sujoy Ghosh in his film Kahaani. Abhishek Bachchan takes over the role originally played by Saswata Chatterjee in the 2012 film, featuring Vidya Balan in the lead role.
Directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh the film has been co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment. Besides Abhishek Bachchan, Bob Biswas also stars Chitrangada Singh and Bengali actors Paran Bandopadhyay and Rajatava Dutta.
The film is scheduled to release on December 3 on Zee5.
