Kartik Aaryan had earlier made headlines for his controversial exit from Karan Johar produced ‘Dostana 2’. Reportedly the actor had already shot extensively for the movie but soon the production house announced Kartik was no longer a part of the project.
Dharma Productions gave an official statement that read, “Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence- we will be recasting Dostana 2 directed by Collin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon.”
Kartik Aaryan who had refrained from commenting about his exit recently opened up about the same. Talking about his unceremonious departure from ‘Dostana 2’ he shared that the reports about him being replaced in movies had an adverse effect on his family. The ‘Sonu ke Titu ki Sweety’ actor added that he belongs to the industry and concentrates on his work and nothing else matters, but for his family, they get worried.
Kartik concluded the topic by saying that his work will speak volumes and that if he ever falls short on that front, he will try to improve. The makers of ‘Dostana 2’ are yet to announce the name the replacement for Kartik Aaryan.
Kartik has a strong line-up of films. He will soon be seen in horror drama ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. Aaryan also has ‘Freddy’ with Alaya F and ‘Shehzada’ with Kriti Sanon.
