Pardes actress, Mahima Chaudhary, who has been missing from the big screen for quite some time, revealed in a video that she was receiving treatment for breast cancer in the United States.
The video shows Mahima telling Anupam Kher the news after he had called her to offer her a part in the film. Mahima not only confided in Kher, but also asked if she could come to the set wearing a wig.
She explained that she had gone for her annual health checkup and it was discovered that she had cancer cells.
Mahima sobs as she describes her diagnosis and treatment, as well as how she had to keep the news from her mother.
While Anupam continues to tell Mahima that she is a hero, the Pardes star expresses gratitude for his support.
