Karan Johar has been exposed to trolls on several occasions, only to emerge stronger. In his sense of humour, the director has a way of delicately condemning unpleasant statements. Having said that, the filmmaker recently addressed the continuous criticism of his chat programme “Koffee With Karan.”
The director explained that he studied the threads on Twitter and other platforms; reels and reels of discussion around KOFFEE WITH KARAN… and he is really moved and touched. He told ‘The Hindu’ that it’s strange since individuals devote so much effort to writing such a long piece about something they despise.
Karan told a news outlet that he doesn’t know how much of the anger and trolling is truly about the show. He believes it is more about the fact that a show like this exists and has such recklessness. He quips that some of the vitriol is amusing since he wonders why people are cursing it so much while simultaneously viewing it.
Karan Johar is always excited about his show no matter what. This year too, he tweeted with full enthusiasm when his show was about to start.
