Producer Ramesh Taurani has confirmed that the script for the fourth installment of the “Race” franchise is ready, alongside works in progress for sequels to “Soldier” and “Bhoot Police.” Taurani, known for his banner Tips Films, recently released “Ishq Vishk Rebound,” starring Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naila Grrewal.
The forthcoming “Race” film will introduce a new cast, with details on Salman Khan’s involvement yet to be disclosed. Scheduled to commence filming by year-end, the project’s director remains undecided.
“Race,” originating in 2008, followed by a successful sequel in 2013 and a third installment in 2018, despite mixed reviews, has set the stage for this eagerly anticipated sequel. Additionally, Taurani plans to revive the iconic films “Soldier,” starring Bobby Deol and Preity Zinta, and “Bhoot Police,” featuring Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor in an adventurous horror-comedy directed by Pavan Kirpalani.
Excited about an upcoming project with Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan, Taurani teased an entertaining love story with captivating music, soon to commence production. The producer emphasized the challenges of creating sequels, stressing the need for meticulous scriptwriting to uphold the original film’s legacy.
