Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are once again being trolled on social media for the choice of name of their second son ‘Jeh’. The couple who welcomed their second baby this year in February recently revealed his full name ‘Jehangir Ali Khan’ in Kareena’s book Pregnancy Bible.
Since then there has been a lot of discussion over it on social media, especially on Twitter. Saif and Kareena are facing criticism for naming their second son after the Mughal Emperor Jehangir. However Kareena’s ‘Veere Di Wedding’ co-star, actress Swara Bhasker defended Kareena and her husband Saif Ali Khan.
Bhasker wrote the tweet in Hindi and used hashtag ‘Jehangir’ and ‘mind your own business’. “A couple has named its children, and that couple isn’t you. But you have opinions about the names, and in your mind, if this is an issue that has hurt your feelings. You are among the world’s biggest donkeys”, Swara tweeted.
A similar controversy had occurred when Kareena and Saif Ali Khan revealed the name of their first born to be Taimur Ali Khan. Trolls had claimed that the child was named after a ‘Turkish invader’
Talking about a personal decision becoming a public debate, Kareena said, “I am a positive person and I want to spread happiness and positivity. There is no place for negativity in our lives. Look at what Covid-19 pandemic has done. It has brought the world closer. That’s what all of us should think about.”
As far as dealing with the trolls is concerned, Kareena said she will start meditating. “I have to start meditating now that I am pushed against the wall. We are talking about two innocent children here.”
